Lovingearth Organic Caramalised Buckinis - 500g

Despite its name, buckwheat is not actually wheat, in fact, it’s not even a grain - it’s the seed of a fruit. It isn’t related to wheat at all, it comes from the sorrel, knotweed and rhubarb family and it’s gluten free!

Our buckwheat is activated. This means that we soak it, wash it and rinse it to remove the enzyme inhibitors. It is then dehydrated at a low temperature (less than 40 degrees Celsius) to create this delicious superfood breakfast cereal.

Our Caramelised Buckinis are a wholefood mix that combines raw activated buckwheat with traditional superfoods such as Maca and Mesquite.

Our Buckinis boxes are printed with vegetable-based inks on 100% post-consumer recycled fiber. These boxes are recyclable.

The Inner Bag is home compostable and made using sustainably managed plant sources such as non-GMO corn and wood cellulose. The bag is compostable under conditions where heat, water, soil, oxygen and microorganisms are present.

This high barrier packaging is perfectly suited to keeping your Buckinis fresh and crunchy and does not contribute to landfill if disposed of properly – this is something which we are very proud of!
